This service is accessed from you mobile phone and the only personal information we collect is your mobile phone number, along with the flight number for which you are requesting arrival details and updates.
To access this service you send an Short Message Service (SMS) text to <T.B.A> with the service keyword followed by the flight number. For example, FLT EZY1234, in upper or lowercase and with a space after FLT.
The cost of the text message (SMS) you send will be charged to you at the rate as per your contract with your network service provider. X-Act Solutions Limited does not collect a fee with regard to this SMS message.
On receipt of a correctly presented SMS text, X-Act will:
- Do nothing - If we hold no information on the supplied flight number
- Respond with current flight arrival details relating to the supplied flight number
- If we are holding flight information for the supplied flight number, we will send up to 4 additional SMS text messages should the flight arrival details change for a period of up to 8 hours.
You will be charged 25p for each SMS text message we send to your mobile phone number. You can request information on as many flights as you like.
If you resend your flight information request you are registering for an additional 5 SMS messages over a period of up to 8 hours.
Send the message FLT STOP, to stop receiving updates for all flights you've registered. Send the message FLT <flight number> STOP, to stop updates for a specific flight.
